Through mixed-age classrooms, students explore an intentional social-emotional curriculum to help deepen relationships with themselves, peers, and the larger community.
Pear Tree Community School's researched-based curriculum is designed to ready our students as willing, contributing participants in a new future landscape and in a dynamic global economy.
Pear Tree Community School is a social justice-informed Montessori elementary school. For the 2022 - 2023 academic year, we are offering Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade classes.
Our students use projects to engage in design theory, to problem pose and to problem solve. Students interact with hands-on materials to deepen critical thinking, literacy, and high-level math skills.
